In Spring 2019 two Chrysalises were discovered living deep under the streets of Helsinki. They slowly emerged into view and have floated playfully among us ever since. They respond to invisible frequencies and emit strange ethereal sounds.
Visitors of Esplanadi Park and Malminkartano Hill can use this free app as a viewer to observe AND listen to these iconic creatures.
Not in Helsinki? You can tune in to the Chrysalis live audio broadcast from anywhere in the world. (Pagan actually found the location of the second Chrysalis just by deciphering hidden messages in the audio.
We have learnt that Chrysalises are guided by the moon as they are most active around noon and midnight. We dont know if they will evolve again soon or even if there are more to be found.
